Dean Shillington
President & Founder, Knightsbridge Capital Group
Dean is the founder of Knightsbridge Capital Group and has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, business development and in commercial finance. He spent several years at GE Capital in various capacities in both risk management and business management. Dean founded Knightsbridge Capital in 2007, actively participating in a lending, equity and advising capacity since that time. Since forming Knightsbridge, Dean has provided guidance to businesses of many forms, in managing periods of start-up and turnaround. He was actively involved in the formation of the Canadian Premier League Canada’s domestic professional soccer league, and remains co-owner of Pacific FC.
He holds a degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently serving on the Board of Directors for various other corporate and not-for-profit entities.
Ron Tratch
President, Knightsbridge Property Finance
Ron has over 30 years of banking and financing experience in Canada, having held executive leadership roles with GE Capital, and most recently the Chief Risk Officer and Commercial Real Estate business leader at Equitable Bank where he was a member of the executive team for 12 years. Ron is also a corporate director and currently serves on the Board of Directors of a Canadian Bank. He brings a wealth of experience in strategically growing businesses, managing risk, and structuring solutions for entrepreneurial growing businesses. His experience lends itself to helping clients maximize opportunities while balancing risks to achieve successful growth.
He is a member of CPA Ontario and holds a Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of Calgary.
Sal Mobilio
SVP Business Development
Sal joined Knightsbridge in 2022, assuming responsibility for the British Columbia market and spearheading the sales team's initiatives across Canada. His finance career commenced in 2005 at CIBC, where he held diverse roles before transitioning to the Commercial Banking division in 2011. Within Commercial Banking, Sal concentrated on bolstering middle-market companies in British Columbia as well as overseeing numerous sizable, syndicated transactions.
Sal holds a Commerce degree with a specialization in Finance from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University.
